I was trained as a potter and sculptor in the south of England, moving to the north in 1966, where I have remained ever since. For the last 23 years I have lived in Harrogate on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales, and from which I have derived inspiration for both my Ceramics and Prints.
The landscape has always featured in my work in one form or another, and over the last seven years I have become increasingly intrigued by relationships of earth and sky, space, changing weather and light, and mans’ interaction with the environment. These are the principal elements which I am currently exploring through clay and ink.
I hope you enjoy browsing my work, which may be purchased direct from me, or through one of my galleries.
